FAQ

Questions? We've got answers.

VIP ticket holders join an author's queue in the app. Spots are first come, first served and limited per author. When your turn comes, you enter a live, private 1-on-1 video Meet + Greet where the author can answer your questions and sign a personalized bookplate. Phictly ships signed bookplates to you after the festival. Bookplates are available for attendees within the USA and may not be available internationally. International attendees are welcome to join Meet + Greets.

Yes. General admission is free: browse every booth, submit Q&A questions, attend workshops and panels, and buy books through each author's purchase links. A $10 VIP ticket adds live author Meet + Greet queues, signed or personalized bookplates, and the digital swag bag.

Just your phone and a Phictly app account. Download the app, sign up, and continue as a free guest or enter your Eventbrite order number to unlock VIP access. No computer needed. Authors and vendors use a desktop Vendor Console, but as an attendee, your phone is all you need.

Yes! You can queue for as many authors as you like. Enable auto-join so the app automatically connects you when it's your turn - even while you're browsing other booths.

Author meet & greets, live video sessions, and signings are exclusive to VIP. This ensures queue management, privacy, and a quality experience for both readers and authors. Each author has a limited number of spots, and queues are first come, first served, so joining early in the day gives you the best chance of getting in.

If you have auto-join enabled, we'll connect you automatically. If not, you'll get a notification and a short window to join. If the queue isn't full, you can rejoin after.

No. There are no replays of author Meet + Greets. Every one is live and in the moment, and that's what makes it special.

Spots are limited. Tap "Apply as an Author" in the Participate section above to get started. Onboarding runs October through December, and booth setup opens in January. You can join for free or choose VIP Author Services ($125 flat fee) for premium placement, bookplate kits, promotion, and dedicated support. Download the Author Onboarding Guide for the full details.
